AI Road Trip Planner

A road trip worth
taking the long way.

Build a road trip around the places you actually want to see. Tell HEYHEY your start and destination, explore suggested stops and choose what belongs in your journey.

Plan my road trip

Review suggested places. Choose your stops. Make the journey yours.

01 · Start with the essentials

Give your starting point, destination, travel dates and the time you have. Mention any towns you must visit and whether you prefer a direct journey or a scenic detour.

02 · Choose stops that fit

Ask for viewpoints, museums, food, parking or overnight stops. Review the suggested places on the map and select the ones that fit your interests and available time.

03 · Review, then navigate

Check the final route and planned stops before opening navigation. Google Maps opens the saved journey; Waze lets you navigate to one selected stop at a time.

What to tell an AI road trip planner

A useful plan starts with real constraints. A weekend away needs a different pace from a two-week journey. Include the number of driving days, preferred time behind the wheel, accommodation budget and the kinds of places you enjoy. Ask for a manageable shortlist first, then refine it rather than adding every possible attraction.

Try this request in HEYHEY

Plan a four-day road trip from Tallinn to Vilnius for two adults. We enjoy old towns and nature. Suggest a lunch stop and one scenic place per driving day. Keep detours short, and show the places before adding them to the route.

Before you leave

  • Check that the selected stops appear in the final route in the order you expect.
  • Verify opening hours, parking rules and accommodation availability with the venue.
  • Allow time for breaks, border crossings or ferries where relevant. Driving estimates are not the full trip duration.
  • Review the journey in your navigation app before driving, especially if you have many stops.

Questions before you go

Can I plan just the route without attractions?

Yes. Give the start and destination and ask for a route only. You can request places later if you want to add them.

Can I change a stop after planning?

Use the trip controls to select and arrange stops, then confirm the updated route. Review the new journey before opening navigation.

Do I need a subscription?
